Passport Office daily-wagers to protest

NEW DELHI: Employees of the Regional Passport Office here, who have been hired on a daily-wage basis, have chalked out a protest plan against what they claim to be unfair treatment.

The Group ‘D’ Employee’s Association president Rajinder Singh Chauhan said the Ministry of External Affairs has not implemented its 2003 proposal of regularising daily-wage employees who have been employed for 7 to 19 years.
