Rain at a few places

NEW DELHI: South west monsoon has been vigorous in Jammu and Kashmir and active in Rajasthan and Uttaranchal.

RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Rajasthan at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh. And at isolated place s in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall are: HARYANA: Chhachrauli 3, HIMACHAL PRADESH: Sujanpur tira 6, Pandoh 5, Nadaun and Gular 4 each, Nagrotasurian and Bharwin 3 each, Jogindernagar and Amb 2 each and Berthin, Kahu and Renuka 1 each, JAMMU AND KASHMIR: Jammu 7, Basoli 6, Patti 5, Bhoond 3, Avantipur 2 and Katra 1, PUNAJB: Shahpurkandi 3, Ranjeet Sagar Dam 2, EAST RAJASTHAN: (Rainfall 3 cm and above) Mangliwas 10, Pisagan 8, Jawaja, Khirensar and Metra 7 each, Arai, Nagour and Ashawar 6 each, Baswa, Pushkar, Bhinay, Mandalgarh and Chhabra 5 each, Nadbai, Nasirabad, Bagor, Parvatsar, Karauli, Jhalawar, Jhalarapatan, Bakani and Aklera 4 each and Chomu, Dholpur, Rajakheda Alwar, Tatgarh, Kisangarh, Bhilwara, Karera, Gyangarh, Piplu, Makerana, Sangod, Anta, Bundi, Manohar Thana, Kotra, Deogarh, Kesarpura, Sallopat, Kushalgarh and Begu 3 each, WEST RAJASTHAN: Jatrain 18, Raipur 11, Pokhran, Bhopalgarh and Bali 7 each, Bilara, Phalodi, Sumerpur and Rohat 5 each, Osain, Pali and Sojat 3 each, Luni, Marwar and Desuri 2 each, Ratangarh, Ramgarh, Jodhpur and Ahore 1 each, EAST UTTAR PRADESH: Bansi and ouskabazar 7 each, Kakarahi 3, Birdghat 2 and Kakardharghat 1, UTTARANCHAL: Dehradun 6, Rishikesh 5, Uttarkashi 4, Hardwar (FM) 3, Joshimath, Marora and Srigangar 2 each and Rudraprayag and Deoprayag 1 each.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 08th JULY 2007: Rain/thundershowers are likely at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in Punjab and west Ra jasthan.

FORECAST FOR DELHI AND NEIGHBOURHOOD VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 08th JULY 2007: Generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain/thundershowers.
