KANCHEEPURAM: Walk-in-interviews will be held in July for educated unemployed youth to provide assistance under the PMRY scheme for taking up self-employment, said Collector Pradeep Yadav in a release.
For eligible candidates of Tambaram and Chengalpattu taluks, interview would be held on July 24 and 25 at Technical Information Centre (DIC, Kancheepuram Contact Centre), Guindy, from 10.30 a.m. For candidates of Sriperumpudur and Tirukazhukundram taluks, it is the same venue on July 26 .
For those residing in Kancheepuram, Uthiramerur, Madurantakam and Cheyyur taluks the interview would be conducted at District Industries Centre, Collectorate Campus, Kancheepuram on July 27.
Candidates in the 18-35 age group residing in the district for more than three years and having a pass in VIII Standard examinations could get application forms at the DIC, Kancheepuram or the Guindy centre.
Production of original and xerox copies of family card, education certificates and two passport-size photographs was mandatory.
