Mr. Modi , along with a business delegation from the State, called on Prof. Schwab and WEF managing director Peter Torrelle in Geneva during a three-day visit to Switzerland this week, said Pankaj Patel, chairman of Zydus Cadila and president of the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Mr. Patel and other members of the delegation, including Reliance group Gujarat president Parimal Nathwani, Essar group chairman Shashi Ruia, Adani group chairman Gautam Adani and Kotak Mahindra Bank vice-chairman Uday Kotak said the WEF leaders were so impressed with Mr. Modi’s presentation of the ‘Gujarat growth story’ that they wanted it to be shared by the congregation of the global chief executives of various economic enterprises.
