The scores: Thiruvarur 79 in 31.5 overs (D. Vinod five for 10) lost to Virudhunagar 80 for two in 12.2 overs.

Kanyakumari 205 in 44.4 overs (W. Antony 49) bt Krishnagiri 194 in 49.1 overs (J. Balakrishnan 111).
