Tumkur: The body of a leopard was found in a field at Mallikaiah in Doddenahalli on Saturday. Forest officials and veterinarians who examined the body said the animal probably had been killed elsewhere and the carcass dumped in the field. The post-mortem revealed that the leopard was killed a week ago had starved for a long time. — Staff Correspondent
