Geetha and Detsy sizzle

Chennai: Geetha Raju and Detsy played the leading roles in helping Southern Railway beat St. Joseph’s College of Engineering to a thrilling five-setter in the women’s section of the IOB-SRM Chennai District ‘A’ division volleyball league championship on Saturday. Gowri was the prominent player for St. Joseph’s.

In the men’s section, City Police beat CRPF by three sets to one.

The results: Men: Chennai City Police bt CRPF 26-24, 25-23, 19-25, 25-15.

Women: Southern Railway bt St. Joseph’s 21-25, 26-24, 25-12, 17-25, 15-06.
