Electricity bill payment

BANGALORE: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited, in a release here on Saturday, has urged consumers not to make any cash payments through meter readers / linesmen and other employees of BESCOM. It said that none of its staff/employees / agents had been authorised to collect electricity consumption charges by cash from the customers at their doorsteps. Consumers in the city are requested to make use of the official payment options — cash counters at the sub-division and section offices or any of the 50 anytime payment kiosks.
