Minister inspects works

VILLUPURAM: Higher Educational Minister K. Ponmudy inspected the progress of works on water projects in at least four places in the Villupuram Assembly constituency on Sunday.

At Salamedu in Koliyanur panchayat union, work on a 10,000-litre capacity overhead tank and a borewell, at a cost of Rs.4.33 lakh, was on. At Anangur, a 30,000-litre capacity overhead tank was coming up at a cost of Rs.4.25 lakh.
