Capacity-building programme begins

Rajahmundry: K. Nirupa Rani, Vice-Chancellor of Adikavi Nannaya University, formally inaugurated a week-long capacity building programme at Dharmanchara on Sunday.

She laid stress on the recommendations of the National Knowledge Commission of Higher Education, which have already been put into practice by the university.

The curriculum was relevant to industrial needs and practical training and project work would help students, she said. She also underlined the need for university-societal interaction .
