March over Yarada issue

Staff Reporter

VISAKHAPATNAM: Members of the Yarada Mokhasadars Welfare Association will take out a peace march from Big Panja near Kurupam Market to the Collector’s office on Monday to submit a memorandum to the Collector against the allotment of lands in the Yarada area to the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA).

According to them, the land identified by the Collectorate at Yarada belongs to the Alamgir mosque of Hazarat Ishaq Madina Auliya Dargah in the One Town area. It was given to Sheik Hussein by the Nizam rulers in 1777.
