10-year RI for possessing explosives
New Delhi: Four persons, including two suspected Hizbul Mujahideen militants, were sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment by a court here on Monday for possessing explosives and collecting arms to wage war against the country. They were convicted under Section 122 (collecting arms for waging war against the country) of the IPC and Sections 4 and 5 of the Explosive Substances Act.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs. 1 lakh each on the convicts Gulzar Ahmed Wani and Mohiuddin of Baramullah in Jammu and Kashmir and Firoz Rafi and Mumtaz of Kanpur in U.P. —PTI
