dated July 11, 1957: Air halt at Madurai

A communication from the Ministry of Civil Aviation states that the question of making Madurai an air halt will be examined when the route patterns of air flights are reconsidered by the Indian Airlines Corporation. Mr. K.T.K. Thangamani, MP, who received this communication, had urged the Government to take steps to make Madurai an air halt.
