HYDERABAD: A century by Karthik (122) helped AVCC score a convincing, 202-run win over Raju’s Cricket Academy in the schools league cricket championship here.

Vijay Bharathi 154 (A. Ram Sudhakar four for 36) lost to Lok Nayak 156 for two (Rana Kalyan 51 not out, N. Anil Kumar 40).

A-Institution league: Canara Bank 98 (Ratna Sekhar four for nine) lost to ECIL 103 for two (Rajesh 59).

A-3 Division one-day: Classic 92 lost to Young Masters 93 for one (Azmath 51).

Kakatiya wins title

Kakatiya’s team of K. Srinivas, K. Suryanarayan, M.V. Subba Rao, M.D. Chowdhary, Y. Nageswara Rao and G. Veerabhadra Rao won the team of four duplicate event in the Fateh Maidan Club Trophy bridge championship here. CV Rao’s team and Manoj’s team finished second and third respectively.

Big win for SAI

Sports authority of India (STC, Secunderabad) recorded an emphatic, 7-0 win over Youth League in the A-1 Division hockey league championship at Begumpet Police Stadium here. The winner led 3-0 at the break. Sampath Kumar and Azharullah Khan (two each) and one each by Nagaraj, Prasanna Kumar and Kranti Kumar were the scorers.
Athletics meet
