CHENNAI: N. Vignesh and Saiarupesh bagged three wickets each as Santhome defeated St. Mary’s by 144 runs in the St. Bede’s Centenary Sumeru Soft Under-13 cricket tournament here on Tuesday. The scores: Santhome HSS 180 in 29.5 overs (K. Vishal 46, M. Prasanna 28, M. Karthekeyan three for 30) bt St. Marys HSS 36 in 15.4 overs (B. Saiarupesh three for 18, N. Vignesh three for 14). PSBB (T. Nagar) 116 for nine in 30 overs lost to St. Johns EHSS 119 for three in 26.5 overs (Geeth Puri 49 n.o.). Vidya Mandir 57 in 20 overs (Rohit Katti three for 19, Balaji three for seven) lost to Hindu SSS 59 for three in 21.1 overs. MCC 91 for six in 30 overs lost to PSBB (K.K. Nagar) 94 for no loss in 8.3 overs (G. Karthik Ganesh 54 n.o., Adhithya Giridhar 31 n.o.).
