Tirupati: Minister for Scheduled Tribes Welfare and Remote Area Development D.S. Redya Naiak has said that the Government was pinning its hopes more on the Gurukul Schools and spending liberally on them -- all with the noble intention of providing quality education especially to the less privileged children to help them come up socially and economically. During his visit to the ST Gurukul School for boys near the Tirupati airport, the Minister interacted with the boarders and tried to seek a first hand information from them about the supplies and the living conditions inside the school and hostel. Satisfied with the positive response from the boarders, the Minister wanted the teachers and the principals ensure 95 per cent success in their schools.
