Industrial camps in Krishnagiri, Hosur

Krishnagiri: District Administration will organise industrial motivation camps in Krishnagiri and Hosur to explain the Prime Minister’s Rozgar Yojana (PMRY) scheme to entrepreneurs in rural areas and ways of obtaining loans from banks to start self-employment venture under the scheme.

According to a Collectorate release the motivation camps would be held in Industrial Estate, Hosur and District Industries Centre, Krishnagiri on July 19 and 20 respectively.

Assistance would be provided to 690 youth in Krishnagiri in the current fiscal.

During the camps officials from the District Industries Centre would explain about the salient features of the PMRY scheme, scope of industries and on-spot guidance on various projects.

Candidates with a pass in VIII STD and in the age group of 18 to 35 years may attend the camps. The annual parental income of the candidates should not exceed Rs.1 lakh.

Eligible candidates should bring original and photocopies of transfer and mark certificates, family ration card and two passport size photographs to the interview.

The selected candidates would be recommended to banks for financial assistance.

The district administration has asked rural entrepreneurs to make use of the opportunity and benefit.
