NAC test for northeast graduates

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: NASSCOM has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Development of North-Eastern Region (DONER) for rolling out NASSCOM’s assessment of competence (NAC) test in the eight States. “The industry standard employment test will help in enhancing the employability levels of graduates. We will be conducting the test for over 20,000 students between September 2007 and January 2008,” NASSCOM president Kiran Karnik said here on Tuesday.

Minister for DONER Mani Shankar Aiyar hoped that this initiative would help youth find jobs in the IT industry.
