CHENNAI: Students and a guardian travelling to Chennai for Engineering Counselling should carry two photocopies of the call letter they received from the Anna University to avail themselves of the travel concession, the Director of Technical Education has said.
The State Government had announced 50 per cent concession for a student and a guardian travelling to Chennai for engineering counselling. A press release issued in Chennai said that they have to hand over the first copy either at the reservation counter or to the conductor of the State-operated bus. They have to handover the second copy when going back from Chennai after counselling, it added.
