ALAPPUZHA: Employees of the Cherthala-based Extra Weave, a manufacturer of matting, carpets and rugs, dedicated one day to cleaning the Cherthala Railway Station and its premises as part of the firm’s social service programme and to tackle the viral fever threat in the area. According to a press release, the firm’s director, V.V. Santosh, general manager (operations) Binu Rajasekharan, and senior manager (HRD) T.P. Thomas led the campaign in which more than 150 employees took part. — Staff Reporter
