Muzaffarnagar: The Special Task Force of Haryana police on Wednesday raided a branch of cooperative bank here in search of bank’s district Chairman, who is wanted in a kidnapping case, police said. Bank’s district Chairman Som Pal Singh is allegedly co-accused of kidnapping an Ambala-based trader. The STF officials came hunting for Singh following inputs from a man facing interrogation in kidnapping case that the Chairman is involved in the case, they said, adding Singh’s residence was also raided.
