Puducherry: Nineteen girls and women in the 14-35 age group, all claiming to be from Rajasthan, were taken to a police station here for questioning after they stopped passers by and two-wheeler riders and asked for help. The group, all conversing in Hindi, told police that they had left Rajasthan to escape from the troubles they were facing there due to natural calamities. They had gathered at a street corner on Tuesday and were stopping people, asking for help.
