Sabarimala temple to open on Monday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Sabarimala temple will open for monthly pujas at 5.30 p.m. on July 16 and close at 10 p.m. on July 21. In addition to the routine pujas, ‘padi puja,’ ‘udayasthamana puja,’ and ‘neyyabhishekam’ would be held on these days, a release from the Travancore Devaswom Board here on Wednesday said. The temple would open for ‘nirayum puthari’ pujas at 5.30 p.m. on July 28. ‘Nirayum puthari’ fell on July 29, the release said. — Staff Reporter
