Railway booking period reduced

HYDERABAD: The South Central Railway has decided to slash the period of advance reservations to 60 days, down from the present 90 days. A press release to this effect on Wednesday said that the decision would be implemented from July 15. However, all bookings done up to July 14 would remain intact. The Railways would also permit cancellations of bookings made beyond the advance reservation period of 60 days.
