KPCC cell’s charge against CPI(M)
Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Pradesh Congress Minority Department has accused the CPI(M) leadership of creating political and social conditions conducive for a second “liberation struggle”. In a statement here on Wednesday, it said that during the LDF rule, the CPI(M) and its youth and students’ wings carried out rather violent campaigns against minority institutions prompting them to become defensive. A meeting of the organisation here said that if the CPI(M) failed to change its policies and attitude towards minority communities, it would open up the way for a second liberation struggle to protect minority rights. — Special Correspondent
