KOCHI: The Kerala regional office of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) will launch its Village Adoption/Development Plan (DVP) in 33 grama panchayats in the State as part of its silver jubilee celebrations falling on Thursday. The programme, being implemented over the next three years, will cover at least one panchayat each in the 14 districts. Financial inclusion
The objective of the programme is to focus on financial inclusion and develop the selected villages in an integrated manner. This will include economic and infrastructure developments as well as other aspects of human development, including water supply, education, health etc, according to a press release issued by the NABARD here on Wednesday.
