Higher pay for evaluation work

BANGALORE: Bangalore University Syndicate has decided to increase the remuneration for evaluation and conveyance to teachers.

The paper evaluation remuneration for non-UGC payscale teachers is now Rs. 12 from Rs. 8 an answer script. For UGC pay scale teachers coming from Bangalore city colleges, the local conveyance allowance has been increased to Rs. 350 from Rs. 250 a day.

The daily allowance for the UGC pay scale teachers coming from outside Bangalore has been increased to Rs. 500 from Rs. 400.

The changes were made based on recommendations from the Bangalore University College Teacher’s Association (BUCTA).
