Desecration of statue decried

Kakinada: The East Godavari district unit of the Arya Vysya Maha Sabha organised a silent march on Thursday protesting against desecration of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Godavarikhani in Karimnagar district.

Organisation district president V. Nagababu and mandal unit president G. Babji condemned the incident and performed ‘ksheerabhishekam’ to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Gandhinagar Five Roads junction.
