Industrial growth slips in May

NEW DELHI: The industrial growth rate, as measured by the Index of Industrial Production (IIP), slipped marginally to 11.1 per cent in May from 11.7 per cent in May 2006, mainly owing to a marked slowdown witnessed in the manufacturing sector.
