Newly-wed man killed in accident

A 28-year-old man died after an unidentified vehicle hit his motorcycle at Rampally village near Keesara on Thursday.

The police said S. Kishan, a private employee and resident of Kondamadugu in Nalgonda district, was coming to the city when the accident occurred.

His marriage was performed two months ago and he had purchased the motorcycle on Monday.

Woman ‘killed’ by husband, in-laws

A woman, who was allegedly set ablaze by her husband and in-laws in their house at Aliabad in Shahlibanda on Tuesday, succumbed to injuries at Osmania General Hospital on Thursday. Twenty-two-year-old Lakeeya Begum was reportedly pressured for more dowry by her husband Salim Khan and in-laws, the police said.

Farmer ends life

A farmer reportedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving training at Falaknuma railway station on Thursday. The Kacheguda railway police said Syeed (28), a native of Guntur district, ended his life due to family problems.
