Pratibha to visit Dehra Dun

To seek support of Congress MLAs in Presidential poll

DEHRA DUN: The UPA-Left nominee for the Presidential election, Pratibha Patil, will arrive here on Saturday seeking the support of the Congress and Bahujan Samaj Party MLAs. Announcing this on Friday, the Presidential election observer for Uttarakhand, Mohan Prakash, said that Ms. Patil would be interacting with the MLAs at a local hotel.

Continuing the offensive against the Bharatiya Janata Party and its allies, Mr. Prakash said that the tone of Opposition allegations “had lowered the future prospects of the saffron brigade which stood more than exposed before the nation”.
