Applications invited for assistance

Krishnagiri: The Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Mandram has invited applications to extend financial assistance to the aged indigent artists.

According to a Collectorate release, artists aged 58 years and above are eligible to apply. The Government is providing assistance to more than 8,000 indigent artists.

The applications can be obtained free of cost in person at the office of Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Mandram, Ponni, 31, P.S. Kumarasamy Raja Road, Chennai- 28.

They can also send a self-addressed enveloped pasted with Rs.10 stamp to the Member Secretary to the above-mentioned address to get the application through post.

Forms will be distributed till July 31.

The filled in forms should be submitted with the recommendation from Tahsildar or Revenue Divisional Officer before October 1, the release add.
