Chandigarh: The Punjab government on Friday transferred 37 middle-level police officers, including six IPS officers. Thirty officers belong to the Punjab Police Service holding various posts, including that of superintendents of police (SP), assistant commandants and assistant inspectors general of police, an official spokesman said. Among the IPS officers, H.S. Sidhu has been posted as DIG (Administration) and Gaurav Yadav as DIG (Intelligence). Arun Kumar Oran has been posted as DIG (Computer) and Kuldeep Singh has been made DIG (Punjab Armed Police). K.J.S. Pannu has been made DIG (Community Policing), Naresh Kumar SP (Intelligence) and Ashish Chaudhary has been appointed as SP (Detective) of Ropar.
