Calicut University Engineering Colleges derecognised: The University has decided not to give approval to Jyothi Engineering College at Cheruthuruthy in Thrissur district and Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology at Kodakara in Thrissur district to admit students in the B.Tech. course from 2007-2008. These colleges had violated the norms of the State Government and the Calicut University in admitting students, according to a press release here on Friday. B.Sc. Nursing Examination: The fourth year B.Sc. Nursing supplementary examination will commence on July 19. The timings are from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Counselling: Counselling for admission to the B.Tech. courses at the Calicut University Institute of Engineering and Technology in the management quota will begin on July 16. The admission will be based on the rank obtained in the entr ance examination conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. Counselling will be held for those who have applied in the management quota. The rank list has been published and the candidates informed about the counselling.
