Nursing career for rural women
J.P.K.M Educational Trust started, JPKM School of Nursing in the year 1993. [G.O.M.S NO:809/93 Health) and approved by Tamil Nadu & Indian Nursing Council. The school established to render services to the needy & under privileged rural young women. Every year the school is admitting 20 students. All the students are getting state rank and distinction. After completing the course, the J.P.K.M Nurses are getting Job in variour multy specially Hospital like, Apollo, Ramachandra, Vijaya, Malar, Kaliyappa, Lakshmi Hospital & Kamatchi memorial hospital in Chennai.
Some of the Nurses are getting job in foreign countries like America, UK, Soudhi Arabia, Muscut, Srilanka, Malasiya, Singapore & Maldives. Discipline is given prime importances in our JPKM School of Nursing. The school is maintaining Hospital with Operation Theatre. The treatment charges are very minimal and nominal. The normal deliveries are conducted by charging very nominal. This hospital is having plan to expand and construct 50 beded rural hospial at Melmanoor near the proposed Airport and Market Complex and also the school is having plan to start Geariatric (Old age) and Mental Health Care Centres.
