Isolated rain likely in south T. Nadu

CHENNAI: Southwest monsoon has been active over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Rainfall occurred at most places over Kerala and coastal Karnataka at many places over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and at a few places over south interior Karnataka. Isolated rainfall occurred over Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and north interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Lakshadweep.

FORECAST (valid until Sunday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places over coastal Karnataka and Kerala, at many places over south interior Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and at a few places over north interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, north Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Lakshadweep. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over south Tamil Nadu.

HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING: Isolated heavy rain is likely to occur over coastal Karnataka, ghat areas of south interior Karnataka and Kerala during next 48 hours.
