HUBLI: The advance reservation period for train tickets has been reduced from 90 days to 60 days (excluding the date of journey) with effect from July 15, according to a release here. However, all bookings done up to July 14 under the advance reservation period of 90 days would be valid and cancellation of the bookings made beyond the advance reservation period of 60 days would be permitted. There will be no change in case of certain day time express trains like Taj Express, Gomti Express and so on where the lower time limits for advance reservation are in force already. Similarly, there will not be any change in the time limit of 360 days fixed for foreign tourists, the release said. Additional coach
Hubli Division of South Western Railway has decided to attach one additional second class sleeper coach to Tirupati-Kolhapur Haripriya Express from July 15 and 17. The revised composition of Haripriya Express between Tirupati and Kolhapur will be 10 coaches comprising one AC 2-tier coach, one AC 3-tier coach, five second class sleeper coaches, two general second class and one second class luggage-cum-brake van.
