Award for translator

New Delhi: Veteran writer Sudhanshu Chaturvedi was conferred the prestigious ‘Gargi Gupta Anuvadshri’ award on Friday, in recognition of his life-time contribution in the field of translation. Born in Uttar Pradesh, the 64-year-old has carved a niche for himself in Malayalam literature by penning several books besides translating a number of works from Malayalam to Hindi and Sanskrit. — PTI
