Eviction to begin at Wagamon

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Eviction of encroachers from Wagamon and nearby panchayats would begin on Monday, Revenue Minister K.P. Rajendran said here on Friday. Additional Commissioner of Revenue V.M. Gopala Menon was posted to Wagamon for the evictions. Officials of forest, police and local self-government departments were deputed to aid him. The Minister said Mr. Menon had earlier been sent to Wagamon to inquire about the encroachments. — Special Correspondent
