One arrested for burglary cases

NEW DELHI: A young man allegedly involved in over a dozen cases of burglary and theft has been arrested at Mehrauli here.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team laid a trap near Andheria Mor on Thursday night and arrested Saluddin. Around 15 gm of smack was allegedly seized from his possession. During interrogation, Saluddin, a native of West Bengal, allegedly confessed to his involvement in 11 burglaries and three thefts in temples in the Mehrauli area. Some silver utensils and an idol have allegedly been recovered.
