VISAKHAPATNAM: A Railway employee has been missing from his home for the past two months. The Kancharapalem police booked a case on Friday on a complaint lodged by his wife. Appa Rao, 52, an employee of East Coast Railway, left home for duty on May 8. Two different cases of dowry harassment have been registered at the Fifth Town police on Friday. In the first case, R. Sonia of Narasimha Nagar had filed a complaint against her husband Ashok and her mother-in-law stating that they were harassing her for more dowry. In the second case, D. Prameela Rani had complained that her husband had been harassing her for dowry.
