Sale of hospital challenged

CHENNAI: A shareholder has approached the Madras High Court questioning the sale of the Tamil Nadu Hospitals Limited to Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam Charitable Trust and later to another corporate hospital group through court auction. The petition filed by R. Chandrasekar came up for hearing before the First Bench of Chief Justice A.P. Shah and Justice P. Jyothimani on Friday. The matter was taken up by the Bench on Friday for the confirmation of sale and registration of properties in favour of the Global Hospitals and its nominee.
