Vijay to meet Jeevan

TIRUCHI: Top seed Vijay Kannan will meet fourth seed and State-mate Jeevan Nedunchezhian in the final of the all-India ranking tennis tournament, jointly conducted by the Tiruchi District Tennis Association and City Club, here on Sunday.

Vijay and Jeevan will meet the top seed Jaco T. Mathew and Saurav Sukul in the doubles final on Saturday.

The results (Semifinals): Singles: Vijay Kannan (TN) bt P.C. Vignesh (AP) 6-3, 6-2; Jeevan Nedunchezhian (TN) bt Krishna Karsolia (UP) 6-1, 6-0.

Doubles: Jaco T. Mathew & Saurav Sukul bt Mohammed Fariz & Ajay Selvaraj 6-3, 6-2; Vijay Kannan & Jeevan Nedunchezhian bt Kaushik Raju & Manu Bajpai 6-2, 7-5.
