Tellicherry, Salem score wins

VISAKHAPATNAM: Tellicherry girls and Salem boys scored two wins each in the super league of South Zone inter-SAI hostel volleyball tournament at the Port Stadium here on Friday.

The results: Boys super league: Salem bt Visakhapatnam 25-13,21-25,25-23,25-23; bt Bangalore 25-27,25-18,25-17,27-25. Bangalore bt Mayiladuthurai 25-19, 23-25, 25-19, 25-19.

Girls: Tellicherry bt Visakhapatnam 25-12,25-13,25-22; bt Kollam 25-13,25-12,25-19; Bangalore bt Kollam 25-18,25-20,25-18.

Preliminary league: Boys pool A: Visakhapatnam bt Calicut 25-12,25-19,25-21; bt Mayiladuthurai 25-23,25-18,20-25,25-22;Mayiladuthurai bt Dindigul 25-23, 25-18,25-27,20-25,15-12.

Pool B: Bangalore bt Puducherry 16-25,27-25,32-30,25-13; bt Salem 25-23,25-19,25-23 and bt. Dindigul 25-23,25-18,25-27,20-25,15-12.

Girls pool A: Tellicherry bt Kollam 25-20,25-9,25-13; Salem bt Mayiladuthurai 25-10,25-23,25-13. Pool A: Visakhapatnam bt Chennai 25-3,25-5,25-7; lost to Bangalore 23-25,12-25,25-23,25-22,8-15.
