Ajit Wijetilak in quarterfinals

BANGALORE: India’s Ajit Wijetilak entered the quarterfinals of the Victoria international badminton championship with a hard fought 17-21, 21-18, 21-18 win over Stephen Wojcikiewcz of Canada at Melourne on Friday, according to information reaching here.

The other Indian contender Arvind Bhat bowed out in the first round losing to Ervin Kehlhover of France 19-21,15-21.
