Chennai: Indian Overseas Bank defeated SDAT and also Central Excise to enter the men’s final of the IOB-SRM Chennai District Volleyball Association senior division league at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium on Friday. Indian Bank is the other finalist. In the women’s section the title fight will be between Southern Railway and GKM. The final will come off on Saturday. The results: Men: Southern Railway beat CRPF 25-17, 25-16, 25-11; BSNL beat TNEB 10-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-23; IOB beat SDAT 15-25, 26-25-17, 25-19; City Police beat TNEB 25-15, 25-14, 25-11; RPF beat Central Excise 25-23, 25-18, 25-16; IOB beat Cent ral Excise 25-12, 25-17, 25-13; Southern Railway beat BSNL 25-17, 25-20, 25-19; SDAT beat ICF 25-18, 25-22, 25-19.
