KANNUR: Kerala Government Contractors’ Federation district unit will stage a Collectorate march here on July 17 demanding Government intervention to check the steep hike in prices of construction materials.Federation’s district president N. Bhaskaran and State office-bearer C. Kareem told a press conference here on Saturday that the exorbitant rise in prices of materials had adversely affected the construction sector. The federation would demand that the Government clear outstanding arrears for public works carried out during the last 28 months. — Staff Reporter
