BANGALORE: Students from minority groups who have obtained free seats for medicine, engineering, BDS, B.Sc., M.Sc., D.Ed. and diploma courses can obtain low-interest loans up to Rs. 75,000. Under the Swavalambana Scheme, loans up to Rs. 1 lakh are available through banks and financial institutions.
