ROYAL WELCOME: Schoolchildren welcoming the car rally in Nellore on Saturday.
NELLORE: Thousands of school children as well as people from different walks of life welcomed the World Military Games car rally when the convoy of about 50 vehicles, mostly military automotives passed through arterial roads of the Municipal Corporation of Nellore on Saturday. The rally, which is covering several districts to create awareness on the upcoming games to be held at Hyderabad on October 14, entered the town on Friday night. After an official reception by district authorities and sports personnel, the rally drove through the town while people, especially school children and NCC cadets lined up on pavements to welcome the convoy.
