Prodi faces investigation

Rome: Italy’s Prime Minister, Romano Prodi, said on Friday he had learnt he was under investigation in a fraud inquiry, but denied any wrongdoing. In a statement issued by his office, Mr Prodi said he had not received any formal notification, which was reported by a website . —
